Andrea Mitchell attempts to report on the Clinton-Obama summit but...

The great thing about live TV is that it's live and has an immediacy and spontaneity about it.

The bad thing about live TV is that it's live and has an immediacy and spontaneity about it.

As NBC's Andrea Mitchell re-discovered this morning while reporting outside the Georgetown home where the Democratic Party's top two names had their secret summit meeting last night and Hillary Clinton surrendered her rhetorical sword to Barack Obama.

She handled it like a pro. Just watch for yourself. (With a hat tip to the fun folks over at Media Bistro's TVNewser.)
