Wyoming Democrat rallies to Hillary Clinton's side!
It may look unlikely in the short term. But if, at some point in the future, there actually is a Hillary Clinton administration, look for Cindy Nunley of Wyoming to be well plugged-in.
On a day marked by a cascade of Democratic superdelegates pledging their allegiance to Barack Obama -- and putting him on the brink of declaring himself the party's presumptive presidential nominee -- Nunley charted her own course.
At 8:25 p.m. (EDT), while part of Clinton's campaign presumably was in the process of dismantling itself, her press office sent out notice that Nunley had announced her support for the senator from New York -- the first superdelegate to do so during the day.
Nunley, a member of the Democratic National Committee, is one of the six party superdelegates from the state; the other five are Obama backers.
According to an Associated Press story out of Cheyenne, Nunley opted for Clinton "because of her commitment to veterans, the number of new voters she brought into the process and the strength and determination she's showed throughout the race."
Let's say this for Nunley -- no one can accuse her of political expediency.

Thank you Cindy Nunley! We appreciate your support! Hillary would be the best candidate to go up against McCain.
Cindy is one of five supers who have now backed Hillary in last few days, and there are still more undecided.
Hillary for President! We are very very very loyal to Hillary.

Barack Obama's side cheated in the caucus state votes and that goes against his message of change and not practicing old school politics.

This article & it's comments are a sad commentary on Hillary's supporters.

To be fair, most people online are just retarded...I've seen Obama supporters online being just as big fools. However, I agree with the author...futile, but at least honest.

Who ever feels that obama is dangerous, perhaps it's
time to stop being afraid at 3 AM. He's not the boogie man.

I like how the writer Frederick summed it up:
No one can accuse Nunley of political expediency.

Go Go Go, USA, Elect another politician who will cut corperate taxes and futher the great wealth divide in the USA all while destroying public school and preventing the poor and middle classes from getting health care. We in Canada are really enjoying see you turn yourselves into a 3rd world nation. In fact, we are also enjoying buying all of your land in Florida for us to vacation too. Its just so cheap for the average middle class family here (who actually make decent wage, who are well educated, and pay $0 for superior health care). I suggest a Mcain/Clinton ticket for the fall, that would do well.

Thank you, Mr. Frederick for your unbiased reporting!
At least you had the decency to report something positive about Hillary, unlike CNN's pundits who acted like idiots, ready to jump down her throat!
Obama gives beautiful speeches, and he truly is charismatic... but in the end, it truly is all rhetoric.
Hillary's speech was heartfelt, and she honestly cares about the issues that affect everyone such as healthcare, the economy, the war and the country's standing in the international community.
We are 18 million strong, and we will be heard! And Obama supporters, keep up the hatred, vitriol and mud slinging... it will only get you as far as your narrow minds takes you.

Dangerous? Stole the Election? I think HRC got the Jerry Springer vote. Too much day time TV and no life. Scary!

Cindy Nunley has what the other superdelegates lack which is character, courage and integrity.
I was so pleased that Hillary decided not to concede in order to rain on Barack Obama's victory party for the many times that his campaign did when she had important victories. I hope Hillary is only messing with Obama as far as being his Vice, hope it's a way of putting him in a catch 22. Hillary is great, you gotta give to her. Take it to Denver!

In response to comments Posted by RM / June 03, 2008 at 09:05 P.M., "Who ever feels that obama is dangerous, perhaps it's time to stop being afraid at 3 AM. He's not the boogie man."
Obama just a wacko racist married to another wacko racist from Chicago like the rest of his Trinity Church pastors, congregants, radical associates, terrorists, and Michael Pfleger. Per his speech, he's gonna heal people and unite the world. Obama is so arrogant that now he thinks he's Jesus Christ? Obama comes across as a cult leader who could lead his blind supporters straight to the slaughter.

For the record, I like Obama, but his message of change is in direct contrast with his actions in the caucus states.

All this talk about how Team Obama is 'stealing' the caucus and yet not one mention of the WIDELY reported Clinton campaign memo that directed her minions on the finer points of 'taking control' of caucuses. Oh, how soon we forget. http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0308/Texas_caucus_hardball.html
The 'we're 18 million strong and we will have our say' argument is so weak. Get over it already. Just vote the Democratic ticket and enjoy four better years in the White House. The alternative is actually unthinkable.
The Republicans have to be laughing their butts off at the infighting within the Democratic Party and the looney Hillary Clinton loose cannons -- like Hillary supporter Harriet Christian. What a piece of work she is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KACQuZVAE3s
Just paste your 'Don't blame me I voted for Hillary' bumper stickers on your cars and leave the heavy thinking to more qualified people.
I think Hillary supporters have lost sight of the objective here, and that is to WIN in November. To BEAT John McCain. And we'll need the entire Democratic party to band together to achieve that very obtainable goal. It really could be landslide numbers if we stuck together. If the Dems lose in November, Hillary Clinton will be held personally responsible.

To the media and political pundit, job well done.
I am an objective black woman and would have been elated to see history made in an honorable manner. Again, if Obama was a white man no way in hell he would have gotten this spot. I survived Bush years and I will survive in Mc Cain years. No way will I be voting for Obama. Even if Hillary is on the ticket

I commend Nunley for pledging her vote to the candidate she felt was best in her mind.. what I find rather funny is the timing. Why did she not state her pledge after the MARCH 8 primary rather then waiting until the very last day of the this heated primary season. If her support was with Hillary, perhaps she should have made her support known and done HRC's campaign a bit more good then chiming in at the 11th hour.
Posted by: S3 in LA | June 04, 2008 at 10:33 AM
Alessandro, you are sociopathic. I live in a caucus state, and it was only that forum that allowed me to participate in choosing a nominee - the later primary didn't count and was very poorly attended. For Hillary, much less you, to say my vote doesn't count after all her "Florida and Michigan deserve to be heard" is beyond hypocritical. My vote counted, your pretending that "evil was on the prowl" at every caucus venue is insipid. You know nothing, you're fishing in a pond with no fish. Every vote counts. Mine did. Even if you don't like it.

So, Diana Obama thinks he' Jesus Christ,.
That's a new one on me. Hillary thinks she's
unstoppable, kind of in a superman fashion.
Jesus was a real person, superman was not.
