The chants by Clintonites cease
"Call it," the crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters gathered in a ballroom in downtown Indianapolis had been chanting Tuesday night, when she staked out a big early lead over Barack Obama in the Indiana Democratic presidential primary.
But with the exception of CBS News, the television networks and the Associated Press continued to view the contest as too close to call.
And, Times reporter Noam Levey tells us, the Clinton crowd grew increasingly quiet as the Indiana race grew increasingly tight.

Half the country knows Obamas not qualified.
The other half hopes he is.

The Drudge Report is saying that tomorrow, Senator Clinton is meeting with a group of super delegates to discuss what happens next. I'm guessing, they will tell her that they are not going to overturn the popular vote or pledged delegates, and that Florida and Michigan will be seated but not in the way that she is insisting on.
I think they will split Michiagn 50/50 and not count the popular vote (a concession by Clinton) and basically seat Florida as is (a concession by Obama). But even doing that Clinton would still be behind in pledged delegates and popular vote, so the race is essentially over.
I hope Clinton stays in the race through June 3rd but spends the rest of the campaign focusing on McCain and basically never mentioning Obama.

She had to win big in Indiana and North Carolina.
She lost by more than 10% in North Carolina, and she will "barely" win in Indiana.
A close victory in Indiana is like a tie. And you know what they say about ties? It's like kissing your sister.

It doesn't matter if Obama eeks out a win and CBS AGAIN has egg on it's face like when Dan Rather was on the that network.
"Tighter than ticks on a dog's back!" Rather would say.
Indiana is a toss up state.
This would be a good time for more super delegates to make their choice, otherwise the battle of opinion what happens in Michigan and Florida delegate decision will be like hell on earth happening.
Hillary will bomb the Democratic Party with rhetoric to seat those votes in her favor.
CNN is trying to say, let Florida vote again in August crazily! Only two months for the Democratic candidate to
battle nationally with McCain, that's ludicrous!
.
It's fair to split those states delegates evenly between the two candidates. This has to end in June or sooner.

"Until this moment, Senator, I think I never gauged your cruelty or recklessness...."
"Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator.... You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, madam, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?"

Michigan and Florida must be counted--It's the American way to include ALL the votes regardless of some obscure, arbitrary ruling made up by the DNC

Please please please, let this nonsense end tonight. I hope she loses Indiana. I never want to see her again.
It's gotten to the point I can't even enjoy Jon Stewart's "Panderer's Box" quip, and that SHOULD have slayed me.

Our rebates and tax refunds are going to wind up in the coffers of the oil companies. Hillary has not mentioned this in her campaign. I think she is brought and paid for by the same people who own George Bush and John McCain. Wake up people. She's not stupid. She's corrupt! She insults white working class people by appealing to their fears rather than helping them to overcome their ignorance. Follow the money. Poor people and racial minorities do not own stock in Exxon. Bill and Hillary Clinton do. Wake up people. She is BOUGHT AND PAID FOR!

That mayor of Gary seemed VERY confident he could deliver for Obama. Why did some few counties take SO LONG to report in? Why were the polls reporting such a positive result for Clinton ALL WEEK? There are a lot of questions about the voting in parts of Indiana. Obama cannot win in the general election against McCain. Wake up Dems, this election is getting pulled out from under your very nose. Superdelegates, take note,

'half the country knows obama is not qualified.
the other half hopes he is.'
this 'other half' knows clinton is not qualified.
while 'half of the country' hopes she might be.
though of course, 'half of the country' is a vast exaggeration as this leaves out the majority of the people in the country that know mccain is not qualified either; and who've come to realize and know that RON PAUL is the only one left in the race who IS QUALIFIED and only waiting for the 'other majority'
(certain influential minorities clinging to their unlawful privileges and desperately still trying to keep the truth under cover though it's long out) to acknowledge reality and stop making fools of themselves by trying to manipulate, cheat and fool everyone. not half, but all the time. (recommended: RON PAUL's new book, 'the revolution: a manifesto')

Mrs Clinton manipulates melodrama to lie to us. She uses Hollywood images and now presents the nation a fantasy of herself as a boxer beating her opponent senseless, while we know that she would not last in a ring with somone like, say, Senator Obama, should they really duke it out and IF he would deck an older white woman like his mother. She is counting on the American people to buy her fantasy like her fantasy of sniper fire in Bosnia AND on Obama to stay the gentleman while she parades in fake male genitalia. Obama, in contrast, actually plays basketball and plays it well. Compare the two sports and ask which is a better predictor for a successful president--a boxer whose sole aim is to beat an opponent sensesless before she is beaten senseless? Or a basketball player whose leadership is made up of nimbleness, teamwork, and skills and who must go the length of the game? Hooray for NC AND for Indiana for refusing the ruthless politics of divide and rule, smear and tear-down. The party leaders MUST finally show courage and good sense and STOP Hillary from spoiling the party's chances to sweep the WH, the Senate, the House AND the new generation of voters this November. They MUST turn the page for the nation.
