An early Pennsylvania exit poll figure

April 22, 2008 |  3:26 pm

With virtually everyone -- including Barack Obama -- waiting to find out not if, but by how much, Hillary Clinton wins today's Pennsylvania primary, a preliminary exit poll result reveals that, in the eyes of many of the state's voters, it will be a hollow victory.

CNN just reported that 54% of those who cast ballots in the Democratic contest said that, regardless of who they favor, they believe Obama will emerge as the nominee.

Conversely, 43% said they expect Clinton to eventually prevail.

Since Hillary is only given at most a 10% chance to snag the nomintion at this point, the astounding fact is that so many Keystone State voters think she will be nominated.
