Give Ron Paul supporters extra points for creativity

We  could waste a lot of words here setting up the context but frankly it's better if you just go to the video -- and as word people, it really pains us to say that (with a hat-tip to techPresident's Joshua Levy and his weekly video roundup for spotting this).

Thanks for posting this...great video!

Website of creators. Looks pretty cool. Looks like they are raising money to put it on the air in Pennsylvania.

Galileo once proclaimed that the world was, in fact, not flat. He was put on house arrest and widely considered to be a kook. Only a short time after did the Christians realize that they were wrong and the world was in fact round.
This, my friends, is what I like to call a paradigm shift. When there is something that you simply don't understand so you choose to belief that it is false or on the fringe. This, my friend, is Ron Paul and you have just entered the beginnings of a paradigm shift.

Fantastic ad.

Kudos for covering this.
Next stop DC, then the convention.

That was pretty cool and inspiring.

THANK YOU LAT! for posting this vid and giving cred to your Constitution. Yes, YOUR Constitution. I'm Canadian, eh? and I don't know a damned thing about the Bilderberg puppet running my country into the ground, but hells bells I sure know who's gonna save your country from going down the toilet - and THEN ours viz North American Union.

The grassroots movement is huge and growing everyday. And guess what? We're taking names and numbers and all the talking head shills who are "pretending" that RP is dead in the water are swiftly loosing our respect and our financial backing...CNN, Larry King, Jon Stewart, Bill Mahr to mention just a few.

Thank you for manning-up!

Is there any reason why we can't start posting Ron Paul signs around the country again as a response to Juan McWar and the Dems?

The R3volution continues...

Thanks for putting this up here! I live in PA and hope to see this airing here soon!!!

Kudos to those who posted this. Have no doubt that those who have joined our peaceful r3VOLution understand the stakes, and will not let it be said, "We did nothing!"

Asks yourselves; Why?

(It is an impressive movement, which is why we give it and have given it such regular and lengthy coverage. Hope you return often and spread the word among your groups about where folks can regularly access Dr. Paul news. Check out the Ron Paul line in the subject category to the right here and peruse the dozens of ones we've already done.)

The revolution accelerates.....

We are passionate because freedom is more important than anything. Unlike the fake corporate candidates running, Ron Paul embodies that true spirit and the fabric which our nation was founded on.

Thank you Scott.
LA Times Blog has ceased to amaze me by its coverage of Ron Paul equally as much as the other candidates. The only MSM outlet that is fair. Thank you.

(You're welcome. That's our job. Hope you return often and spread the word among your groups.)

This is the best video ever. Ron Paul, Right about the Economy, Right about the Constution, Right about healthcare, Right about out of control spending.
Ron Paul has been right all along. The Paradigm Shift is upon us. The r3VOLution Lives.

That's a blowaway video!
I admire the candidate, and I admire the good people that support his candidacy.

thank you for standing up.

As grateful as we are that the LA Times Blogs have been so fair in providing coverage of the r3V0Lution, I cannot get past the fact that it is still only the BLOG section of LA Times. How many column inches has the "serious" side of the paper, the hardcopy, and the non-blog section of LATimes.com given Dr Paul? I look for it, and very seldom do I see any such coverage. A cynic may conclude that (1) the blog is just trying to boost ratings, and (2) serious "mainstream" coverage is being withheld from Dr Paul.

Consider the weekly reports from the "Project on Excellence(sic) in Journalism", at journalism.org Look at the table down the bottom of the weekly reports: Dr Paul is getting the shaft, and that includes from the likes of LA Times. In the week leading up to Super Tuesday, - the very same week in which Dr Paul's amazing $20M fourth quarter earnings figure was released, and it was revealed Dr Paul received more donations from military members than ALL other candidates (D or R) COMBINED, Dr Paul received a big, fat, 0.0% of significant media coverage out of all presidential coverage for the week. How is that anything but a deliberate shut-down policy....also participated in by the LA Times?

This is all on the record, and we are collecting this. An expose will be released. Names will be named. People will be held accountable.

But we DO appreciate at least the blog section of LATimes.com doing your job by giving the r3V0Lution some coverage.

Hmm. This isn't showing up in the Google news search. A shame. More people should see this.

This is the YouTube about making the video:

I just thought it was itneresting. :-)

Thank you LA Times!!! His record speaks for itself. If the US is ready for a change, he is our man! I would like to keep more $$$ in my pocket. A true family man who doesn't cheat on his wife & country. Is it just common sense that most people don't get it? So we will be marching on Washington to so show the world we are not all about britney or american idol.

glassblowing

it would be great if every republican can see this before the GoP national convention.

Technically very good but not my style. I prefer the dynamite "Aimee Allen unofficial Ron Paul Revolution" video.

My thanks to the LA Times for its coverage of Ron Paul. As a Ron Paul supporter, I have almost become used to a curtain of media suppression of Ron Paul coverage.

Ron Paul represents what's best in all of us. I hope he gains support and the message he carries becomes dominant in America politics.

Also to note that Ron Paul recieved the most donations from the military.I think alot of things are going wrong in America from their media to the their federal reserve. And i belive our so called fair elections are not fair.I want an open election the most votes wins, with out the liebold voting machines. What is going on with this country, where the rich rule.Ignore the mass media(propaganda) cspan still ok tho.Peace -Restore the Republic-Freedom-Give me Liberty or Death!!!!!
Thanks to Dr.Paul for waking up the American people. We have our eye on them, and not liking what Im seeing.Save America kick out corrupt servants in government. What corporations are doing to people in this place called earth is wrong,Its all of our planet what gives them the right to use all its life and resources for their gain. There is other energy out there, has been for ages but they would rather destroy our planet for their greed for money and power. We all must stand together and stop these so called human beings from doing this to us,Hourly slaves!

Don FrederickDon Frederick has served as an editor helping guide coverage of every presidential election since 1984. He is a third-generation Washingtonian, so watching the political world comes naturally to him.

A graduate of Northwestern University, he was a reporter for newspapers in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas before joining the (now-defunct) Los Angeles Herald Examiner in 1983. Hired by The Times in 1989, he has worked in its Washington bureau since 1996 — a perch providing him a close-up view of the impeachment of President Clinton, the government's response to 9/11 and the day-to-day wrangling of the two major parties.
Andrew MalcolmAndrew Malcolm's immigrant parents repeatedly stressed the importance of active participation in a democracy. Early lessons included learning the alphabetical list of states by watching televised roll calls of national political conventions. That childhood exposure led to a lifelong fascination with politics, including 40-plus years of covering them and a brief stint practicing them as press secretary to Laura Bush in 1999-2000.

A veteran foreign and national correspondent, Malcolm served on the Times Editorial Board and was a Pulitzer finalist in 2004. He is the author of 10 nonfiction books and father of four.
