Is another Kennedy endorsement enroute for Obama?

So what's this the Ticket hears about Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy, joining her brother-in-law Ted Kennedy in supporting a particular Democrat? He was in the news this week for his stunning political move and rejection of Hillary Clinton to endorse Barack Obama on Monday, along with his son Patrick and Caroline Kennedy?

Perhaps it has something to do with backing up what Ethel Kennedy said two years ago when, at her invitation, a brand-new senator named Barack Obama spoke at a ceremony marking what would have been Robert Kennedy's 80th birthday.

In an interview that day Ethel Kennedy said of the new Illinois senator, "I think he feels it," meaning her husband's quest for social justice. "He feels it like Bobby did. He has the passion in his heart. He's not selling you. It's just him."

And then that day Ethel Kennedy referred to Obama as "our next president."

This is awesome... Obama deserves this nomination more than any one else. These people - Ted Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, Ethel Kennedy - understood what great leadership is and how it can change a country for the better. The Kennedy's pushed American beyond race - made us realize what is great about this country, why people like my parents moved here to work and live and found a welcoming grateful nation. Obama understands that. His candidacy is important. This moment is too important to waste on a candidate whose name you recognize and face you've seen for eight years. Lets not waste this moment by going backwards. We need to move on to America's future, a better future. We can do that with Barack Obama. Please vote Obama on Tuesday.

As an independent who is very impressed by Barack Obama (much as I was with JFK in 1960), I cannot believe that Hillary Clinton might win the Democratic nomination. If she does, and John McCain is the Republican nominee, I'll vote for him, and I believe he will win. If it's Obama/McCain, I'll vote Obama but I think it will be a lot closer election.

If the Democrats hope to take back the White House with Clinton, then they better pray that Romney is the Republican nominee.

It Took A Clinton To Clean Up After A Bush...

Let's agree that Hillary's statement is TRUE. That proves the corollary as equally truthful: It took a Bush, W, to clean up after a Clinton, B.
Makes sense to me.

Bill soiled the dressing which cloaked the prestige of the US Presidency. At least, W had no equivalent dangerous liaisons in the oval office.

One can only wonder what stains another Clinton Presidency would leave upon the US Presidency.

Hillary's ridicule of the dynasty question at last night's debate was typically evasive.

This issue should be fully vetted for the sake of our Democracy lest the Dynasty continues with Clinton in '08, Jeb Bush in '16, then Chelsea in '24 at age 39 or so.

Let's clean-up in 2008 and restore our Democracy, at once and for all time!

Obama: Landslide on Tuesday.

This isn't the 1960's anymore. There is only one "Kennedy" endorsement that actually matters in this year's presidential race -- it's the one that John McCain received yesterday from our Governor.

Let get one thing straight
This guy is not JFK. Period. What a spin routine.
He is a junior politician, lacking world knowledge, concerns, realistic goals and aims. Some very serious stuff.
Nice try, painting a smoke screen.
After Bush, this is really the best that we come up with, to solve all Bush's nonsense and mess.
I would have thought that we coud have learned from our previous mistake.

Huh.

Can someone ask Bubba Clinton if Jesse Jackson got Ethel's endorsement way back when? I'll hang up and listen for my answer...

WHY DONT YOU GUYS PUBLICIZE THAT ALL OF BOBBY'S CHILDREN HAVE ENDORSED HILLARY CLINTON? GOOD GRIEF.

(You need to read this blog more often. We already did that article just on them days ago when it happened. Actually, it's not ALL the children. There are 11, after all. But several did and we wrote about it here. Thanks for reading. Come back more often.)

The statement "He feels it like Bobby did. He has the passion in his heart. He's not selling you. It's just him." says it like it is. After hearing Senator Obama speak a couple of times in person and listening to podcasts of his from before he entered the race, I knew that he was special. He does truly inspire people. If there is anything that we need in our country right now, it is inspiration. That inspiration backed by good judgement, intelligence, sincerity, and character is an absolute choice. Please vote Obama on Tuesday.

But who will the Dead Kennedys endorse?

The Clinton legacy is an absurd farce. They came into the White House as somewhat liberal. The moment the Republican congress fiercely opposed their plans, the Clintons immediately withdrew and met them half way. The dot-com economy randomly happened during Clinton's years. He had nothing to do with that temporary economic explosion. But he did perpetuate Reaganomics that started under. Bill Clinton was disaster as commander-in-chief: Bosnia genocide, Rawanda genocide, Somalia disaster, Al Queda running rampant. It's pathetic to hear all of you Clinton supporters ramble on about a mediocre president as if he were FDR.

And though no fan at all of Bush Sr,, Bill Clinton was an embarrassment in terms of presidential character. Never forget that it was the Clintons who made it possible for neo-nuts to rally and give us George Bush.

TONY: "WHY DONT YOU GUYS PUBLICIZE THAT ALL OF BOBBY'S CHILDREN HAVE ENDORSED HILLARY CLINTON? GOOD GRIEF."

Maybe because none of us can keep TRACK of all of Bobby's children.

This is hilarious. There is nothing here to suggest the Ethal Kennedy is considering going against her children by endorsing Brack Obama. Her children have all endorse Hillary Clinton. This rumour is based a comment made in a two year old article that is not even available online anymore.

Wallace says, "This is hilarious."

Sorry, Walace, it's true. She just endorsed Obama: Breaking News: Ethel Kennedy to endorse Obama.

http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/samgrahamfelsen/CGBjb

She says he reminds her of Bobby. :-)

Yes We Can!

Barack has said, there those who tout their experience in Washington-but that system isn't working for us and hasn't for a long time.
Hillary is not a presidential candidate, she is vendictive, vicious, unpredictable and negative person. Her experience in the White House was worthless, she and Bill have been a disgrace to our country. She couldn't negotiate with the Republicans for health care, now what makes her think she can.
A reminder to all Hispanics that are supporting for her, you have made a big mistake. As a Hispanic in California, we do not support her as the media is stating.
Americans have seen through her, and will vote "Barack Obama" for president of the United States.

Yeah, I remember the "good times" of the Clinton Administration. Let's see:

"I did NOT have sexual relations with that women." (fibber)
"yes, i spoked pot, but i didn't INHALE." (clinton spin pie)

How many women claimed he had an affair with him? Didn't he get disbarred, did our government try to impeach him?

One has to ask why Hillary would stay with a man who publicly humiliated her. Perhaps it is because she is so darn calculating and ambitious that she knew divorcing him would not serve her purpose. She probably knew all along she wanted to be president and that if she could just survive this, she could have it all!!

The leopard can only hide his spots BUT cannot remove them. Bill and Hillary Clinton are corrupted. It is in their bone and blood. There are enough proofs of such corruption during the time Bill served as Governor of Arkansas (Cattle deals, Whitewater etc), as the President of the USA (does the Lincoln Bedroom renting remind us of anything?), as the ex-president (the uranium deal with KAZAKHTAN). Does he behave like the expected stateman? Of course not are we surprised? How disgusting. Our Constitution calls for only 2 terms of Presidency. Bill is going to get a Third term with Hillary in the White House. We, Americans, are not ignorant and naive. Our country needs new ideas, new leadership instead of the STATUS QUO with 35 years of BAGGAGES.

To many endorsements and no substance in his message; that is the Obama Campaign in a nutshell. The Voters are not stupid. A clear message and experience not endorsements will determine the nominee.

It looks like Obama may take California with the Kennedy support.
