Sunday morning: Can't-miss Hillary TV

If guessing three winners in three races at the horse track is called a trifecta, what do you call Hillary Clinton's scheduled near-sweep of the Sunday news shows?  We count five separate appearances.  Would that be a quinfecta, then?

So far, Clinton's set to appear on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" on ABC, "Meet the Press with Tim Russert" on NBC, "Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer" on CBS, "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer" on CNN and "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace.  It's the last show that has the most potential, frankly.  It comes almost a year to the day after Wallace had a not-so-warm-and-fuzzy moment with Bill Clinton when asking about the former president's efforts to neutralize Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Hillary Clinton's appearances are all playing off her healthcare plan announcement this week, which gives it a news peg.  Still, it's quite a scheduling coup.

ILL WATCH HILLARY FOR SURE- I LIKE HER VERY MUCH- NO MORE MESSY REPUBLICAN MANILPULATIVE PARTY PLS.
UR OHYCHIC LADY COMMENT.

It is working for Hillary Clinton though.
She has moved up the polls continually since May and now is a dead cert to win the nomination.

I was forwarned so I read rather than listen to Hillary. As a democrat I cannot stand her.
I cannot imagine listening to her everyday for 4 years. And her agenda is just too neocon for me.
I wonder if she would be even a thought in the primaries if she ran as herself and not traded on her husband's resume. But, we know the answer to that. Hillary is average senator who never did much of note while serving and has not distiguished herself as a leader or much of a legislator and has proven bad judgment.
Not thanks.
I'll take Sen. Obama, who has very good judgment, an impressive record in the US and State senate, has shown leadership ability and has the temperment and intellect to move this country in a better direction.
Afterall, Clinton is part of the sorry past 20 years that has driven this country into the ground. We don't need more of the same to fix things.
We need new blood and new ideas and new leadership to turn things around.

A veteran foreign and national correspondent, Malcolm served on the Times Editorial Board and was a Pulitzer finalist in 2004. He is the author of 10 nonfiction books and father of four.
