The return of P. Wilson

August 13, 2007 |  7:22 am

Pete Wilson, the former state assemblyman, the former mayor, the former senator, the former governor and the current attorney, is returning to his former workplace of Sacramento. At least part time.

Wilson currently works out of the Los Angeles office of Bingham Consulting Group, a subsidiary of the law firm Bingham McCutchen. Next month Bingham will open an office in the capital and Wilson will travel there a day or two a week in part to help clients address the many issues associated with California's legislation to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

Joining Wilson in the new office will be Sean Walsh, Wilson's former deputy chief of staff in the governor's office and ex-director of Gov. Schwarzenegger's Office of Planning and Research.
