Boys’ basketball: Nike Extravaganza to feature St. John Bosco-Etiwanda game

The 2014 Nike Extravaganza is set for Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Santa Ana Mater Dei, and one of the featured games will be St. John Bosco taking on Etiwanda. Both schools won section titles this past season.

The Jan. 31 games: Ocean View vs. Servite, 3 p.m.; Eisenhower vs. Saddleback Valley Christian, 4:30 p.m.; Fresno Bullard vs. Santa Margarita, 6 p.m.; Village Christian vs. Mater Dei, 7:30 p.m.; St. Bernard vs. Mater Dei (girls), 9 p.m.

The Feb. 1 games: Colony vs. Los Alamitos, 9 a.m.; Gardena Serra vs. Upland, 10:30 a.m.; Alemany vs. Fairfax, noon; Redondo vs. Corona Centennial, 1:30 p.m.; Foothill vs. Orange Lutheran, 3 p.m.; JSerra vs. Bishop Gorman, 4:30 p.m.; St. John Bosco vs. Etiwanda, 6 p.m.; Westchester vs. Maryland DeMatha, 7:30 p.m.; Mater Dei vs. Illinois Whitney Young, 9 p.m.
