The Long Beach Poly girls won their record 13th CIF state track and field championship and fifth in six years Saturday in Clovis. The Jackrabbits racked up 49 points, 18 more than second-place San Leandro.

Even without star sprinter Ariana Washington the Jackrabbits finished second to Piedmont Hills in the 1,600 relay, the final event of the night. Washington had led the 400 relay to victory to open the meet.
