Football: Oaks Christian wins Conejo Valley tournament

Quarterback Brandon Dawkins had a good day in helping Oaks Christian defeat Hart in the championship of the Conejo Valley seven on seven passing tournament on Saturday.

Receivers Chris Davis and Darick Holmes were also singled out by Coach Jeff Woodruff. Defensive players Malik Cyphers, Jake Juels and Andre Chevalier also made major contributions.

Anaheim Servite defeated Paramount to win the championship of the Bellflower tournament. Quarterback Travis Waller made several clutch throws in the final.

Gardena Serra won a tournament at UCLA, defeating Los Alamitos and Long Beach Poly. Also, receiver Jordan Lasley committed to the Bruins.
