Gearing up to make a run at Gardena Serra in football and Bellflower St. John Bosco in basketball, West Hills Chaminade has picked up 6-foot-5, 210-pound receiver-basketball player Brayden Lenius, a transfer from British Columbia.

He’s the second high-profiled transfer that the Eagles have taken in. Guard Michael Oguine checked in from Reseda Cleveland.

Lenius, who visited several local private schools before deciding on Chaminade, is expected to sit out the first month of the season under CIF transfer rules.
