Boys’ basketball: War on the Floor tournament begins Thursday

The 18th War on the Floor basketball tournament begins on Thursday at Burbank Bell-Jeff and Pierce College. It goes through Sunday’s 6 p.m. championship game at Pierce.

Pool A: El Camino Real, Simi Valley, Bell-Jeff, Ribet

Pool B: Bullard (Fresno), Burr. (Ridge.), Van Nuys, Santa Clarita Chr.

Pool C: Sylmar, Buckley, Newbury Park, Gametymers

Pool D: Campbell Hall, Sun Valley Poly, Eastside, Reseda

Pool E: Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Paraclete, Verdugo Hills

Pool F: Dorsey, San Gabriel Academy, Chavez, Eagle Rock

Pool G: Sierra Canyon, Saugus, Cleveland, Canoga Park

Pool H: Birmingham, Crescenta Valley, St. Genevieve, L.A. Marshall.
