Boys’ basketball: Three tournaments this week

Prep basketball fans will have lots of choices this week for summer tournaments.

Action begins on Monday at Westchester and Pasadena Maranatha for tournaments, and Compton is hosting a tournament on Tuesday.

At Westchester, Windward plays Mater Dei at 4 p.m. in the featured game. Dorsey plays Redondo at 2 p.m. Hart plays Beverly Hills at 5:30 p.m. and the Comets face St. Bernard at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, Taft plays Lawdale at 5:30 p.m.

At Maranatha, Brentwood opens against St. Francis at 3:30 p.m., followed by Loyola-West Ranch at 5 p.m., Campbell Hall-La Salle at 6:30 p.m. and Pasadena-Calabasas at 8 p.m.
