May 26, 2013 |  6:32 am

There was some epic volleyball played in the last two weeks involving Huntington Beach and Loyola. Last week, Huntington Beach won the Southern Section Division 1 championship with a five-set victory over the Cubs. And on Saturday night, the Oilers did it again.

They won, 25-22, 20-25, 29-27, 20-25 and 15-12, to win the Soutehrn California regional championship at Santiago Canyon College.

Sophomore TJ DeFalco, the star of last week's five-set win, came through with 17 kills. Brendan Sander added 14 kills.

Jackson Bantle kept trying to boost the Cubs all night.
