Track: Weather forecast for state championships is sizzling hot

There’s no need to bring a jacket to the CIF state track and field championships on Friday and Saturday at Buchanan High School in Clovis.

The weather report for Friday is 95 degrees. The report for Saturday’s finals is 103 degrees.

Khalfani Muhammad of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame is bidding to repeat as 100 and 200 champion. He better drink lots of fluids and dream he’s on a Hawaiian beach.
