Southern Section baseball: Serra opens 4-0 lead

Gardena Serra has opened a 4-0 lead over Mira Costa after three innings of the Southern Section Division 3 final at Dodger Stadium.

Marcus Wilson, who hit a home run in the second inning, added a two-run double in the third inning. Trent Hammond picked up his 40th RBI with a run-scoring single.

Dominic Smith has struck out five consecutive batters for Serra and has six strikeouts overall.
