Girls’ track: Freshman Courtney Corrin sets D3 long-jump record

Freshman Courtney Corrin of Studio City Harvard-Westlake has set the first divisional record at the Southern Section track and field championships at Mt. San Antonio College.

She soared 20 feet, 9 inches in the Division III girls’ long jump.

The old record was 20-1 3/4 set in 1993 by Juliana Yendork of Walnut.
