Girls’ soccer: Amber Munerlyn is Gatorade state player of the year

Standout senior Amber Munerlyn of Corona Santiago has been named the Gatorade state player of the year in girls’ soccer.

A member of the U.S. Soccer under-20 women’s national team, Munerlyn concluded her prep career with 63 goals and 17 assists during her playing days at Santiago. She had 19 goals and five assists this past season.

She has a 3.76 GPA and is headed to North Carolina.
