The new coaching staff at Anaheim Servite has been finalized, and spring practice has been in full swing, with junior-to-be Travis Waller and senior-to-be Neil Pau’u battling for the starting quarterback position.

First-year head Coach A.J. Gass has put together a staff he believes will keep the Friars’ program moving forward.

Among his hires are Mykeal Terry, an assistant from Santa Ana College to be offensive coordinator; Frank Kalil, a former Servite assistant who has returned to coaching running backs, and Scott Lambert, a Servite grad who will coach linebackers after coaching at St. John Bosco.

‘We’re young, energetic,’ Gass said.
