Gardena Serra standout sophomore running back Malik Roberson has a torn ACL and will need knee surgery, likely forcing him to miss his junior season. He suffered the injury while long jumping at the Masters Meet.

‘He’s such a great kid,’ Coach Scott Altenberg said. ‘He will play again.’
