Poly (20-8, 8-2) only needs to defeat Monroe twice next week to win the league title because it swept the Dons (8-2) this week and owns the tiebreaker edge in head to head matchup.

North Hollywood defeated Grant, 7-0. Brayden Harris threw a complete game. Tyson Turner, Danny Meza and Eddie Torres each had multiple hits for the Huskies. Arleta defeated Chavez, 8-3. Chris Garcia had three hits and four RBIs and threw a three-hitter. Arleta and North Hollywood will meet next week with a possible Division I playoff spot on the line.

In the Valley Mission League, Kennedy wrapped up second place with a 7-5 win over Sylmar. Alejandro Vasquez had two hits and two RBIs. Alex Gomez had three hits.
