Baseball: LACES bids for City Section Division III title

The City Section Division III baseball championship will be decided on Tuesday when LACES faces East Valley in the 4 p.m. title game at USC.

LACES has been competing in the Western League. Derek Martin is batting .355 with a 1.87 ERA. Matt Kanfer is hitting .479.

East Valley is one of the recently built new schools in LAUSD making its first appearance in a championship game.
