Baseball: Chatsworth grads are making impact

May 27, 2013 |  2:13 pm

Matt Dominguez (Houston Astros) and Mike Moustakas (Kansas City Royals) aren't the only ex-Chatsworth players bringing attention to the Chancellors. Several ex-Chancellors are having an impact this season at the collegiate level.

Steve Karkenny is batting .348 with 11 home runs for The Master's College, which is in the NAIA World Series.

Pitcher Michael Renner is 9-2 with a 1.81 ERA for the University of North Florida.

Outfielder Hayden Tsutsui of Carleton College was named national rookie of the year by D3baseball.com.

Infielder Jared Holley of New Mexico has been a contributor on a team that made the NCAA playoffs and will be in the Cal State Fullerton regional.
