Several local players helped Cal Lutheran win the SCIAC tournament championship this past weekend and advance to the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Ramsey Abushahla, a freshman from Taft, got a start on Saturday and produced three RBIs and raised his batting average to .440.

Jake Petersen from Morro Bay is batting .466 and is 7-1 on the mound.
