Softball: Sophomore Amanda Lorenz is star at Moorpark

When it comes to impressive starts in softball, Amanda Lorenz of Moorpark is near the top of any list.

According to the Ventura Star, Lorenz has 10 home runs, a .659 batting average and 26 RBIs in 44 at-bats.

And she’s only a sophomore and already committed to the University of Florida.

She was the CalHiSports.com freshman of the year last season.
