Palos Verdes wins Southern Section Academic Awards

For the fourth consecutive year, the Palos Verdes football team has won the CIF Southern Section Academic Award for having the highest cumulative grade-point average among football teams.

Adding to the honor, Palos Verdes also was the best team on the field in its division, winning the Northern Division championship.

Flintridge Prep won in football for schools with less than 1,500 enrollment.

Palos Verdes also won academic awards in girls' basketball, girls' soccer and boys' track.
