Don Markham, who’s 73 and still full of energy, has taken over as head coach at San Bernardino Pacific.

It’s just another stop in a legendary prep coaching career that began in 1970 at L.A. Baptist in North Hills. He has coached at Colton, Bishop Amat, Bloomington twice, Leuzinger, Rialto and Compton. He also coached in Oregon.

His career record is 310-111-1.

‘If they want a quick fix, I’m the guy to do it,’ said Markham, who has been at Pacific since Monday.

Markham is known for the Double Wing offense.
