For 28 years, Paul Knox has been the football coach at Los Angeles Dorsey. By his count, at least 20 of his former players have made it to the NFL. And on draft day on Thursday, he’ll be excited watching to see where former Dons running back Johnathan Franklin is taken.

‘He was a great player in our program,’ Knox said. ‘He was a leader and really blossomed at UCLA.’

The last Dorsey player drafted was safety Rahim Moore taken by the Denver Broncos in the second round in 2011.
