Football: Norco’s Todd Gerhart is placed on administrative leave

Norco football Coach Todd Gerhart said Tuesday he has been placed on paid administrative leave while the Corona-Norco school district investigates a complaint alleged by a former coach.

Gerhart, whose son, Toby, plays for the Minnesota Vikings, said he will take several weeks off while waiting for the investigation to be completed.

Gerhart has been involved as a player, teacher and coach at Norco for years. His youngest son, Coltin, is a junior quarterback at Norco.
