College football recruiters have started making the rounds at high school campuses, and at Gardena Serra, sophomores Rasheem Green and John Houston are picking up offers in rapid fashion.

Coaches from USC and California watched them work out on Tuesday and immediately offered, according to Coach Scott Altenberg.

‘Rasheem gets on the track running the 200 and runs like a receiver,’ Altenberg said of the 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman who runs a 4.8 40. ‘He’s not a normal human being.’

Houston, a 6-3, 212-pound linebacker, had 17 tackles in the CIF state championship bowl game last season.
