Driving from his home in Yorba Linda, new Encino Crespi Coach Troy Thomas has begun putting his stamp on the Celts’ progam.

The former Anaheim Servite coach has been helping to direct weight lifting activities in the early morning while getting to know his new players.

Here’s a profile of Crespi’s new president, Tom Batsis, who hired Thomas and is making changes at Crespi.

Meanwhile, Servite continues to look for a replacement for Thomas, with an expected announcement later this month.

Two high profile public school coaches, Matt Logan of Corona Centennial and Frank Mazzotta of La Habra, have said they have not applied for the Servite position.
