Boys’ basketball: Grant Jerrett leaves Arizona for NBA draft

Former La Verne Lutheran 6-foot-10 center Grant Jerrett is taking the NBA plunge. The freshman at Arizona announced earlier this week he would make himself available for this year’s NBA draft.

Jerrett has a terrific outside shooting touch, but he will have to prove himself physically during workouts leading up to the draft.
