What a season it has been for sophomore Daniel Rocha of Narbonne. He has been the team’s leading hitter, and he came through in a Marine League opener, going four for four with a home run and five RBIs in a 12-8 victory over Carson.

Omar Avila added a triple and two RBIs. His two-run triple in the sixth inning was a key hit.

Isa Pulido of Carson had tied the game with a three-run triple in the top of the sixth.

Narbonne improved to 10-9 overall.
