April 23, 2013 | 10:14 am

One of the top college baseball teams in the nation is Cal State Fullerton (36-4), and the Southern California connection has led the Titans to prominence.

Michael Lorenzen, a Fullerton High grad, leads the team in hitting with a .338 average and seven home runs. He also has 12 saves as a closer.

Former Crespi infielder Carlos Lopez is batting .331.

Chad Wallach, who played at Santa Ana Calvary Chapel and is the son of former Titan Tim Wallach, is batting .320.

Freshman Justin Garza, a Bonita grad, is 8-0 with a 2.65 ERA.
