There was a Campanella and a Suppan on the field on Tuesday for the Crespi-Chaminade game, bringing back memories of the 1990s.

Junior Quinn Campanella got a single for Crespi in its 4-0 victory, the first hit by a Campanella since 1998, when his uncle, Andy, was an All-CIF player for the Celts. Another uncle, John, was an All-CIF player for the Celts in 1996. And Quinn’s father, Joe, was a standout basketball player for Crespi in the 1980s.

For Chaminade, Dylan Suppan pitched four innings. His uncle is Jeff Suppan, the Celts’ standout pitcher from 1993.

Andy Frakes threw a one-hitter for Crespi.
