Baseball: Angel Lerma pitches Marshall past Narbonne

In a battle of City Section teams, junior Angel Lerma threw a complete game and pitched L.A. Marshall past Narbonne, 7-3, on Saturday. He allowed three hits.

Adam Martinez had a double and four RBI to help Marshall improve to 9-5.

Kennedy defeated Garfield, 6-1. Estevan Rodriguez had two hits and two RBIs. San Fernando defeated University, 4-1. Roberto Ramos threw five shutout innings with seven strikeouts. Jose Haros had a triple. Alex Cuellar added an RBI.

Conor Cuse, Jack Flaherty and Hans Hansen combined on a four-hitter in Harvard-Westlake’s 3-1 win over Simi Valley. Poly defeated Roosevelt, 10-1. Alonso Hernandez had three hits and two RBIs. Felipe Hernandez added two hits and four RBIs. Royal defeated North Hollywood, 4-3. Andrew Marmor had three hits for North Hollywood.
