The California Coaches’ Assn. has announced its winter coaches of the year.

Girls’ basketball: Lorene Morgan, Long Beach Millikan.

Boys’ basketball: Doug Mitchell, Bishop Montgomery.

Boys’ soccer: Michael Kodama, Burbank Burroughs.

Girls’ soccer: Stacey Finnerty, San Clemente.

Girls’ water polo: Jason Wilson, Troy.

Wrestling: Omar Delgado, St. John Bosco.

Assistant coach: Felix Cortez, Ventura boys’ basketball.

Rookie coach: Conley Oliver, Agoura girls’ basketball.
