Girls’ basketball: Windward loses in Open Division title game

Los Angeles Windward loses to Oakland Bishop O’Dowd, 60-45, the CIF state championship Open Division final.

Windward came into the game 32-0 and previously defeated Bishop O’Dowd, 58-43, in December.

O’Dowd also won the Division III title in 2012.

Junior Jordin Canada led Windward with 19 points. Ariell Bostick had 17 points for Bishop O’Dowd (30-3).
