Girls’ basketball: Pinewood takes 12-9 lead over Sierra Canyon

In the first of six CIF state championship games at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Pinewood has taken a 12-9 lead over Chatsworth Sierra Canyon in the Division V girls’ final.

Sophomore Kennedy Burke scored seven of Sierra Canyon’s nine points.
