Lynwood has come out scorching while opening a 36-14 halftime lead over Bakersfield Ridgeview in the CIF Southern California Division II championship game in girls’ basketball at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.

Ridgeview has the Gatorade state player of the year in Stanford-bound Erica McCall, but she has been a nonfactor. Lynwood has a 23-game winning streak.
