Girls' basketball: Long Beach Poly wins fifth state title

Long Beach Poly defeats Berkeley, 46-28, in the CIF Division I state championship girls' basketball game.

This is the fifth state title for the Jackrabbits and their first since 2009. Long Beach Poly won four consecutive from 2006-09.

Jada Matthews led the Jackrabbits with 14 points and Arica Carter had 11 points. It was the fewest points ever allowed in a Division I girls' final.
