Girls' basketball: Granada Hills has early lead [Updated]

Granada Hills has a 15-6 lead over top-seeded Westchester in the second quarter of the City Section Division II girls' championship game at Roybal.

Danielle Ward has eight points for the Highlanders.

Update: Westchester has a 29-26 lead entering the fourth quarter. Taylor Jackson sparked the Comets in the third quarter with eight points.

Westchester rallied for a 19-18 halftime lead behind Ahteana Jones, who scored seven points in the second quarter.
