Gardena Serra leads Salesian, 28-19, in the CIF state championship Division IV final at Sleep Train Arena.

Siera Thompson leads the Cavaliers with 12 points as Serra outscored the Pride, 16-5, in the second quarter.

Oregon-bound Deandrea Toler also has seven points for Serra.

The Cavaliers are playing for the program’s first state title.
