Football: Scott Altenberg is busy taking phone calls

Gardena Serra Coach Scott Altenberg got away for a brief vacation in Hawaii. Let’s hope he told college football recruiters he was taking a break, because he has been taking calls nonstop about his players.

Defensive back Adoree’ Jackson is a national recruit from the class of 2014, and linebacker Dwight Williams is getting plenty of scholarship offers, too.

Defensive back Glen Ihenacho has an offer from Washington State.

Two juniors to be, lienman Rasheem Green and linebacker John Houston, picked up offers from UCLA.

And quarterback Jalen Greene has an offer from Boise State.
