Football: A St. John Bosco-Crenshaw game is set for Oct. 4

Bellflower St. John Bosco, expected to be one of the top five football teams in Southern California this fall, has finalized its 2013 schedule, and one of the games will be a nonleague game against City Section power Crenshaw on Oct. 4 at St. John Bosco.

The Braves will open their season on Aug. 30 at Compton Dominguez, play Fresno Clovis North at home on Sept. 6, face Chandler (Ariz.) at Mission Viejo on Sept. 14 and play Loyola at Valley College on Sept. 20. They open Trinity League play against host Santa Margarita on Oct. 11.
