Westchester pulled out a 60-58 victory over host Fresno Bullard in a game that ended with a controversial call.

Bullard appeared to score the game-tying basket before time had expired, but the officials ruled the basket didn’t count because of basket interference, the Fresno Bee reported on Saturday after speaking to one of the officials. The CIF office confirmed in an official report that basket interference was the reason the shot was disallowed at the conclusion of the game. It was earlier believed that the basket didn’t count because time had expired.
