Boys' basketball: Tim Tucker could be new coach at Maranatha

With the announcement on Monday night that Tim Godley has stepped down as basketball coach at Pasadena Maranatha comes word that longtime Pasadena Coach Tim Tucker is the leading candidate to replace him.

An announcement could come as early as Tuesday. If true, it would be huge news in Pasadena, where Tucker helped lead the Bulldogs to prominence as a player and coach. He's won two Southern Section titles as a player and two as a coach.
