Boys' basketball: Mater Dei leads, 39-26
Elijah Brown scored 16 points and Stanley Johnson 14 to help Mater Dei take 39-26 halftime lead over Long Beach Poly in an Open Division semifinal game.
Roschon Prince has 12 points for the Jackrabbits. In the other semifinal, Etiwanda leads Westchester, 35-17.
In Division I, Loyola leads Crenshaw, 42-34, at halftime.
