Boys’ basketball: It’s an Etiwanda-Mater Dei rematch

Etiwanda and Mater Dei will get a rematch of their Southern Section Division 1AA championship game on Saturday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Etiwanda defeated Westchester, 56-46, in a CIF Southern California Open Division semifinal playoff game. Jordan McLauglin scored 30 points.
Elijah Brown scored 33 points in Mater Dei’s 83-63 victory over Long Beach Poly. Roschon Prince scored 25 points and Jordan Bell 12 points for Poly. Each fouled out. Stanley Johnson added 21 points for Mater Dei.
In Division 1, Loyola defeated Crenshaw, 93-71. Trey Mason scored 23 points and Thomas Welsh 20 points and 13 rebounds. Andre Edwards had 29 points for Crenshaw. Santa Monica defeated San Diego Mission Hills, 51-34.
In Division 2, Redondo defeated San Diego Hoover, 60-52. Ian Fox scored 24 points and Derek Biale 15.
In Division 3, Chaminade defeated Royal, 70-55. Justin Eisen scored 19 points and Jack Williams ahd 17 points and 21 rebounds.
In Division 4, Bishop Montgomery defeated Army-Navy, 74-55. Justin Bibbins scored 24 points and Stephen Thompson 23.
